Neoprene rubber makes a soft, solid wheel is specially formulated with a premium compound to withstand wear and abrasion while resisting oil, grease, and most chemicals. Soft tread is permanently molded to a hard center core for added strength and higher load capacities. Very low rolling resistance, high impact strength, non-staining wheel. Will not crack or become brittle or sticky.
* Total locking brake casters work best with softer wheels like neoprene, soft rubber, thermoplastic rubber & polyurethane. The softer wheel allows the brake pad to grip the tread effectively. While total locking brakes also work with harder wheels, a strong push may cause slight movement of the caster wheel.
* To tighten the caster, locate the 3/4" nut on the underside of the stem & tighten with a 3/4" wrench. Refer to the product images for reference.
