Sintered steel wheels are made from super compressed powdered iron that provides a strong, durable, & cost effective solution for light to medium duty loads. While metal wheels are strong, they're tough on floors and could lead to floor damage.

* Total locking brake casters work best with softer wheels like neoprene, soft rubber, thermoplastic rubber & polyurethane. The softer wheel allows the brake pad to grip the tread effectively. While total locking brakes also work with harder wheels, a strong push may cause slight movement of the caster wheel.
* With the thin metal used in the construction of the total lock brake mechanism, the overall temperature rating of the caster is limited to 180°F.
* To tighten the caster, locate the 3/4" nut on the underside of the stem & tighten with a 3/4" wrench. Refer to the product images for reference.
