Forged V-Groove wheels are designed to guide equipment along inverted angle iron tracks but can also function without a track due to the tread on both sides of the V-Groove. Made from forged steel, these wheels are the premium of all the steel wheel casters. The forged steel wheel is made from ASTM 1045 high carbon steel that is hot drop forged. It offers the maximum weight capacity, impact strength & durability of all caster wheels. While forged steel is incredibly resilient, it is the harshest wheel type for floors & could lead to floor damage.
