Our solid polyurethane elastomer wheels combine the heavy duty capacities similar to steel wheels with the floor protection & quieter operation of polyurethane. The firm non-marking tread (Shore D 65) is safe for hardwood, tile & other finished floors while delivering minimal deformation under heavy loads for easier rolling & improved push efficiency. A moderately crowned tread also helps improve maneuverability & swiveling performance.
For added strength, the wheel incorporates a nylon bearing sleeve molded into the polyurethane body. Because the sleeve is compact compared to larger core-style wheels, it has less exposure to harsh environmental conditions, helping decreasing the likelihood of de-treading. Larger wheel sizes further reduce environmental exposure to the embedded sleeve.
These wheels offer excellent resistance to water, grease, oils, blood, brine & chemicals, making them a great choice for demanding industrial environments. If your application requires the highest possible resistance to environmental factors, consider our fully solid polyurethane wheels. While they sacrifice some capacity, they are the most durable polyurethane wheel option against harsh environments & de-bonding concerns.
