Polyurethane on polyolefin wheels offer more floor protection, non-marking treads, quieter rolling, & smoother rides compared to steel or phenolic wheels while still providing comparable load capacities. These polyurethane on polyolefin wheels are going to be the most economically priced of the polyurethane wheels and great for general industrial applications.
These wheels can be used in most applications, but are not recommended for hot or cold applications, or when left in direct sunlight for most of their use.
* Total locking brake casters work best with softer wheels like neoprene, soft rubber, thermoplastic rubber & polyurethane. The softer wheel allows the brake pad to grip the tread effectively. While total locking brakes also work with harder wheels, a strong push may cause slight movement of the caster wheel.
* To tighten the caster, locate the 3/4" nut on the underside of the stem & tighten with a 3/4" wrench. Refer to the product images for reference.
